Have you been wishing for a quick relaxing getaway completely focused on your well being?
Well, wish no more! The first weekend in November, join me along with my sister-in-healing, Jennifer Varriano, for an Autumn Weekend Wellness Retreat. We’re taking the best of what we both know to create for you an amazing holistic three-day weekend.
The Place~ We’ll be heading north just over a hundred miles from Staten Island to the foothills of the Catskill Mountains in beautiful upstate New York where you’ll view leaves giving way to change, breath crisp fresher air, and let your everyday worries float away on the river outside our cottages.
Peace-filled Mornings~ Gently awaken to sip hot comforting healing tonics then move into contemplative walking meditations outdoors before group yoga lessons led by Jennifer.
Yummy Foods and Beverages~ Feast on wholesome, seasonal and satisfying nutritious vegan meals and snacks prepared with loving intentions by Linda.
Soulful Activities~ Stroll the area, take a boat ride, gaze from the deck, enjoy conversations with like-minded others, read, relax, nap. Take a drive through town, visit a local farm/farmers market. Enjoy whole food prep demos led by Linda based on what’s in season. You’ll be encouraged to play with your food!
Healing Sessions~ Receive two private holistic healing sessions. Our specialties complement each other well and so we offer you a half-hour with each of us at set-aside times during the weekend. Reflexology sessions are with Linda. Soul Healing sessions are with Jennifer.
Night Life~ Gaze up at the stars from a deck overlooking the river, then let the hypnotic sounds of nocturnal creatures lull you into a restful dreamy sleep.
Relaxing Good Time~ Slip away from your everyday demands and immerse in the energy of self healing. We will bring you there and back via carpool from Staten Island or you can meet us there. While we have you for the weekend, we’ll feed and nourish you~ body, mind and soul.
When Is This Happening? Soon! We leave early Friday afternoon on Nov 4th and plan to have you back by early Sunday evening on Nov 6th.
Where Are We Staying? At Tom & Jeanie Antonelli’s cottages on the Hudson River in Ulster Park, NY. Each of their three cottage can accommodate three to four guests comfortably. The cottages are bright, clean and cozy. We know because we’ve been there before.
What To Bring? Not too much. Pack your most comfortable warm cozy clothing, walking shoes, slippers, a bath towel, your personal toiletries, journal and pens, a book to two, your favorite pillow, anything that helps you feel grounded. Bring a yoga mat or let us know if you need to borrow one. If you have dietary needs outside the scope of our vegan menu, your foods should be brought along and added to your meals. Bed linens, blankets and everything else will be provided.
